I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE VULTURES WITH A GLASS OF WINE
♥
Well, why not look around a little more? Was the only thing running through Andante's mind as she rather quickly shuffled in, focusing on anything but what she was doing. That had always been a nasty habit of hers, always concentrating on something instead of on what she was doing. Real smart, huh? No, don't get me wrong. Andante's a rather intelligent fae, not afraid to speak her mind, either. But just like the rest of the world, she was allowed to have her 'off-days' where she wasn't paying attention to anything that she should've been. I mean, don't we all have days like that? And if we don't, we should. Give our minds a rest now and then, instead of the constant worry that many have trouble with. Or maybe this was just Andante's opinion. And if the world doesn't know now, then it probably never will.
A rather light sneeze escaped her nares, and at the same instant a slight shake of the tiara seemed to fix the problem of the rather long strands resting lifelessly in way of her vision. Though, now, they were hanging rather peacefully off to the side of her face.
Glad that the dry weather had finally seemed to take over the wet, giving the lithosphere a rather firm feeling beneath her instead of the constant worry that somewhere the ground would be a bit too soft, and.. well, you know. I've already explained this once, and I don't plan on doing it again. So to those of you that don't know, well, too bad. You missed out, I guess. Too bad for you. Swatting the rather long plume, that was dangling lifelessly behind her I might add, just for the spurr of the moment [which, there really wasn't any sort of moment going on. But who cared? Not her]. Letting a rather loud snort escape her nares, lifting a dagger, only for it to crash down onto the topography soon after.
Snap!...
Well, of course, being the slightly jittery vex she was, I doubt that it surprised you that she jumped at this. Gaze fell to the ground as she rather antsily stepped away from whatever it was that her hoof had landed on, only for her to feel rather foolish for being so jittery. A stick, what else could it have been? I mean, not many things go 'snap' when you stomp on them. Jeez, how stupid, right? Er, that's how she looked at it anyways. Eyeing the surroundings rather cautiously auds perked forwards, though, if hearing anything, occasionally swiveling in that direction. Maybe she was just an attentive listener, or something of the sort. Who knew, and who really cared? Certainly not her. There wasn't anything to care about.. Yet. And she figured that at this rate, there wouldn't be for a while. Oh well. That was just Andante being her typical, rather pessimistic, self.
