Name; Kahne
Age; 7
Breed; Thoroughbred
Gender; Stallion
Colour;
Alliance; Neut
History; Bred for speed and endurance at a world-renowned Thoroughbred racing stable with lines to kill for that included Man O' War, War Admiral, Secretariat, and Kingdom. Kahne started competing at age 2, winning 3 of his 4 starts, yet in the last not even finishing. His reason was obvious-- as the horse ambulance rushed him off the track you could see his front left tendon barely hanging on to his leg. Vets feared the worst, assuring his billionaire owners to put him down. But they refused, knowing if he could just hang on enough to be bred they could make another million or two. Then at age 5, Kahne had made a full recovery. Although he was approching the usual retirement age and obviously not sound enough to race, he was only used for breeding and occasionally let into the indoor arena for a light hack. But fury was building up inside him, for it was in his blood that he needed to run. He needed to let loose and finish ahead of all the rest. And one day he did just that. Kahne amazingly cleared a 5 foot tall fence, even though he had never jumped before in his life, and followed the wind to TFR, where he galloped to his heart's very desire, and then some, hoping to make a new life for himself-- as a horse looked upon because of his will and strength, not just for his speed.
Personality; Kahne is easygoing yet can get a little rough at times. Prefers to have smaller herds, where he can bond with his mares and foals. Compassionate. Sympathetic to those less fortunate then himself-- will take in almost any troubled horse just so they can have a home and be loved. Because Kahne knows what it's like to only be saved for value.
